CSRA RESA provides substitute training through our online Canvas platform. Participants will complete the self-paced training at their convenience. Payment information can be found below. Payment must be received before participants can begin the course.

Participants will receive a training invite via email within 72 hours of the receipt of payment. (Please check your spam folder if you do not receive the email.) The CSRA RESA instructor will be available during business hours to assist participants and provide feedback.

Please note: Georgia school systems are responsible for selecting and hiring substitute personnel. Please contact the district(s) in which you would like to be employed to verify they accept the CSRA RESA Substitute Training and inquire about their application procedures. In addition, individuals chosen to be substitutes will work with districts regarding local system policies and obtaining the required background check.

Registration and training verification: Once you have created an account on the CSRA RESA Substitute Training site, you will be able to log onto the site and register for the course. Upon completion of the course, a printable certificate will be uploaded into your account. When applying for substitute teaching positions with district(s), follow the application procedures of the school system and include the certificate if required.
